Try http://salokin.de/utf8.html?open=16&clear=no and save a copy. Load the copy and choose one of the entries, e.g. "Chalkidiki". Now change to "Page on the internet", choose the same entry and compare the results. The "saved" images are not the true images, since the true images had not been loaded yet when the website was saved.
I would expect to see some sort of placeholder instead of the fake images which could give the false impression that the website actually looked like this when it was saved. (The fake images are part of the website and they have been loaded in the background, but they were never intended to be displayed at this place.) |

Hi beiningke,
Sorry for the delay -- I've been focussed on getting Find It! Keep It! to work with Leopard.
To answer your question, yes Find It! Keep It! does sometimes substitute a picture for one that was never loaded. It does not substitute a picture for pictures that failed to load (the error is kept), nor does it mix pictures up, but it can do the substitution you mention.
Why does it do this? Even though I save and replay most state, I can't do it all. For instance some advertisement providers use the current window size, window position on the screen and the scroll position within the window to load different images. Since the other images weren't loaded when you originally saved the page, I need to map the loads that didn't occur to those that did. This is the mechanism which is showing you the hidden images on the website you mention.
I'm afraid that I don't see any practical way of changing this behaviour without degrading more common user experience.
